 What We Do• AMBULANCE We provide a full spectrum of Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance services to nursing facilities, hospitals and dialysis centers. Our fleet of ambulances meets or exceeds all applicable industry and regulatory standards. Each BLS ambulance is staffed by two certified Emergency Medical Technicians. • WHEELCHAIR TRANSPORT? MOBILITY ASSISTANCE VEHICLE This service is for clients who require assisted transportation, however do not meet the requirements for an ambulance. Wheelchair bound and ambulatory patients are courteously assisted and safely transported to their destination. Our Mobility Assistance Vehicle (MAV) fleet is comprised of late model, lift-equipped vans which are staffed by MAVT certified technicians who are also certified in CPR. MAV service is available Sunday through Saturday. Medicare does not cover this service, but other insurances are accepted when pre-authorized. • BARIATRIC TRANSPORT Larger patients have traditionally been difficult to transport. Transporting heavier patients can pose many challenges. Guardian EMS has recognized these difficulties and has responded by establishing a specialized ambulance which is equipped with a larger stretcher and specially trained staff. Guardian also has Bariatric Wheelchairs available when requesting a Mobility Assistance Vehicle. |
